1&1 AG Reports Mixed Financial Results for First Nine Months of 2024

1&1 AG experienced growth in customer contracts during the first nine months of 2024, with an increase of 90,000 contracts, reaching a total of 16.35 million. Despite this growth, revenue slightly decreased by 0.5% to €3,017.2 million compared to the previous year.

The service revenue saw a 2.5% rise, reaching €2,478.7 million, while hardware revenue declined. EBITDA in the Access segment rose by 7.7% to €630.1 million. However, total EBITDA declined by 9.4% to €463.0 million due to higher start-up costs for the 1&1 mobile network.

The company confirmed its forecasts for 2024, expecting service revenue around €3.31 billion and a 9% growth in EBITDA for the Access segment. The investment volume is projected at approximately €460 million for the year.
