2023/2024 turnover review for Damartex
Damartex closes the 2023/2024 financial year with a turnover of 529.2 million euros, marking a decline of 9.9% compared to the previous year. The second half shows a turnover of 236.3 million euros, down 7.7%.
The group has suffered headwinds, with macroeconomic instability and a contraction in consumption. The “Fashion” segment recorded a 9% drop in revenue, penalized by unfavorable weather. Nevertheless, the Xandres brand grew by 6.8%.
The “Home & Lifestyle” segment saw its sales fall by 10.6%, while the “Healthcare” division fell by 17.9%. Damartex has restructured its business model to better adapt to difficult market conditions.
In response to the difficulties, the group maintains rigorous management of its cash flow and anticipates a net result impacted by exceptional items for the financial year.
