Abasca Resources Reports Promising Graphite Findings at Loki Zone
Abasca Resources Inc., listed on the TSXV as ABA, has announced promising assay results from its 2024 drilling program at the Loki Flake Graphite Zone, part of the Key Lake South Project in Saskatchewan. Over the summer, the company conducted systematic drilling over a 600 m segment of this 2 km zone, which remains open along strike and at depth.
The exploration revealed several significant graphite intersections, with one notable finding being a 52 m section grading at 7.18% Cg. The findings align with Canada's Critical Minerals Strategy, which emphasizes the significance of graphite in economic growth. Abasca continues to focus on both uranium and graphite exploration, aiming to enhance the North American graphite supply chain.
20 drillholes totaling 5,499 m were drilled in a 100 m grid, intersecting graphite at the overburden-basement contact. These results pave the way for further exploration and possible mineral resource estimation.
