ABO Energy's sustainability performance received a "very good" rating from imug rating. The company scored a full 100 points in the categories of “products and services” and “controversies,” while achieving 49 out of 100 points in “ESG management.” The report highlights room for improvement in ESG management.

Managing Director Alexander Reinicke expressed satisfaction with the rating, noting that it validates the company's sustainable business model. He emphasized their alignment with the United Nations' objectives, particularly "affordable and clean energy." Reinicke committed to continuing improvements, including the production of an annual sustainability report.

Despite the positive assessment, imug identified areas for enhancement, such as conducting external audits and expanding public reporting on ESG topics. The company plans to address these issues to further elevate its sustainability practices.
