ACCENTRO Real Estate AG: BaFin Orders Financial Audit

On July 8, 2024, ACCENTRO Real Estate AG announced that Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) had ordered an audit of the company's accounting regarding the reversal of the acquisition of DIM Holding AG. The audit focuses on annual and consolidated financial statements for December 31, 2021, and December 31, 2022, along with related management reports.

BaFin's decision was based on indications suggesting possible adjustments in claims related to the purchase price repayment and loans granted to DIM Holding AG. As a result, ACCENTRO's financial statements for these years will undergo separate auditing.

ACCENTRO has stated that it maintains close communication with BaFin to resolve the matter amicably. In response to ongoing developments, the new Management Board has made a EUR 13.3 million value adjustment as of September 30, 2023. This leaves a residual receivable of EUR 4.4 million from the DIM transaction. The Management Board does not foresee any significant disadvantages for the company.
