ADS-TEC Energy's ChargePost Wins Green Product Award 2024 in Mobility Category

At a ceremony held in Berlin at the Nordic Embassies, ADS-TEC Energy GmbH’s innovative charging station, ChargePost, was awarded the Green Product Award 2024 in the mobility category. This event takes place yearly to honor standout products in design, innovation, and sustainability. The ChargePost, a multifunctional battery-buffered rapid charging station, enables fast, off-grid charging of electric vehicles. It supports up to 300 kW charging through its integrated battery, which stores energy from limited power grids.

The product ensures vehicles can be charged in minutes even in remote or densely populated urban areas without the need for extensive grid expansion. If connected to a photovoltaic system, ChargePost can also utilize solar power, further enhancing its sustainability. The jury of the Green Product Awards praised ChargePost for its potential to increase public acceptance of electromobility by providing faster charging solutions, thus encouraging more people to choose electric vehicles.

This year, the award garnered a record 1,500 entries from 60 countries, highlighting the intense competition and ChargePost's significant achievement in standing out among 250 shortlisted products. Notable jury members included representatives from IKEA Germany and Lund University.
