Advanced Blockchain AG Invests in Silencio Network to Tackle Global Noise Pollution

Advanced Blockchain AG has made a strategic investment in Silencio Network, a rapidly growing platform within the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) sector. The investment includes an initial $50,000 commitment, securing a 0.125% stake in the token supply and equity allocation.

Silencio Network leverages blockchain technology to incentivize global noise pollution data collection, addressing an often overlooked environmental threat. Users can report noise data via a mobile app, earning tokens that can be traded or used for services. Since its launch in March 2023, Silencio has deployed 300,000 sensors across 180 countries, recording over 6 million venue check-ins globally.

Hatem Elsayed, COO of AB, emphasized the importance of this investment in driving innovation within the DePIN sector, stating that Silencio’s real-time, hyper-local data is essential for improving environmental policies. The sector, valued at $35 billion, is projected to reach $3.5 trillion by 2028, highlighting its transformative potential.

Silencio Network aims to become the world’s largest citizen science project, offering GDPR-compliant data to empower governments and businesses in mitigating noise pollution. This aligns with Advanced Blockchain AG's focus on innovation and its ongoing commitment to the DePIN sector.
