AGRANA Unveils "NEXT LEVEL" Strategy at Capital Markets Day
AGRANA Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft recently held its Capital Markets Day, unveiling the "NEXT LEVEL" strategy devised to steer the company towards improved financial performance. CEO Stephan Büttner and Group CTO Norbert Harringer presented the strategy to key stakeholders in Vienna on January 16 and in Kröllendorf on January 17, 2025.
The structure involves transforming AGRANA into a streamlined holding company with two strategic areas: “Agricultural Commodities & Specialities” and “Food & Beverage Solutions.” The Supervisory Board approved this plan, anticipating annual cost savings of €80-100 million, effective by the 2027/28 financial year.
The NEXT LEVEL plan aims to overcome the current challenging business environment by focusing on cost-efficiency and innovative services. Sustainability is integral to the strategy, with goals for net-zero emissions by 2040 for Scopes 1 and 2, and by 2050 for Scope 3.
