Airbus Reports Share Buyback Transactions from 16-20 September 2024
Airbus SE, identified by the stock exchange symbol AIR, has announced the details of its share buyback transactions conducted between 16 and 20 September 2024. These operations are part of a broader buyback programme declared on 9 September 2024, intended to bolster employee share ownership plans and equity-based compensation plans.
The authority for this buyback was granted by the shareholders during the Annual General Meeting on 10 April 2024. The company has the approval to repurchase up to 10% of its issued share capital. Throughout the specified period, Airbus repurchased a total of 360,094 shares, with an average purchase price of €130.5735 per share.
