Al Jazeera Media Network Renews Partnership with Eutelsat Group

Paris, 13 September 2024 - Eutelsat Group, a global leader in satellite communications, announced that Al Jazeera Media Network has reaffirmed its commitment for broadcast services in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.

This new multi-year, multi-satellite agreement ensures the continuity of Al Jazeera’s news and events channels in both SD and HD formats. The coverage spans three of Eutelsat’s key video neighborhoods: 7/8°West for MENA, HOTBIRD for Europe, and 16A for Central and Eastern Europe.

7/8° West reaches 95% of homes across the MENA region, making it the leading broadcast neighborhood there. HOTBIRD at 13° East serves 130 million homes in Europe, particularly Arab communities. EUTELSAT 16A covers extensive areas in Central and Eastern Europe.
