Allianz Posts 14% Operating Profit Growth for Q3 2024
Allianz has reported a 14% increase in operating profit for the third quarter of 2024, reaching €3.9 billion. This growth is attributed mainly to strong performance in the Property-Casualty segment.
The total business volume grew by 17.3%, totaling €42.8 billion, while shareholders' core net income rose by 23% to €2.5 billion. Over the first nine months of 2024, Allianz's total business volume increased by 9.6%, reaching €133.9 billion, with an operating profit of €11.8 billion, a rise of 7.9%.
The company forecasts its full-year operating profit to be in the upper half of its target range of €14.8 billion, plus or minus €1 billion. Allianz has also fully executed previously announced share buy-backs totaling €1.5 billion by October 2024.
