Amdocs Partners with Google Cloud to Simplify eSIM Activation

Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX) announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance eSIM activation for consumers. The integration aims to improve the customer experience with eSIM technology by providing an end-to-end onboarding solution for communications service providers (CSPs).

Amdocs' eSIM Cloud platform, ranked #1 by Counterpoint Research, will integrate with Google Cloud's Telecom Subscriber Insights. This collaboration allows CSPs to leverage both platforms to offer seamless eSIM services globally. The combined solution, operated by Amdocs, offers a digital-only and swift activation process that eliminates the need for physical SIM cards and reduces customer support calls.

The new solution ensures a smooth onboarding process by integrating with existing CSP systems. Automation and remote provisioning make it easier for customers to activate their devices without visiting physical stores. Real-time monitoring is also included to manage the activation process efficiently.
