American Wave Machines Partners with China Tourism Group for Surf Resort

American Wave Machines has announced an agreement to establish a PerfectSwell® Surf Resort on Hainan Island, in collaboration with China Tourism Group. The resort, named Riyue Bay Surf Resort, will be located in Wanning's renowned surfing hub of Riyue Bay. Known for its favorable surfing conditions, the bay has hosted international competitions for over a decade and is home to China's National Surfing Team.

The project marks China’s first surf resort, featuring a multi-use development anchored by PerfectSwell® technology. The first phase will include a surf-themed hotel, shopping district, dining options, and more. The initiative aims to cater to international and local surf enthusiasts, fostering talent and expanding China's surfing community.
