Amprion Scores Top Marks in Sustainable Fitch ESG Ratings

Amprion GmbH has secured an outstanding ESG rating from Sustainable Fitch. The transmission system operator received a score of ‘2’ across all categories: Entity, Instrument, and Framework. This rating indicates Amprion's strong alignment with ESG best practices.

Amprion’s ESG entity score increased from 70 to 76, reflecting continuous improvements and positive contributions to the environment and society. The company’s Green Finance Framework and green bonds also maintained their high ratings.

Peter Rüth, Chief Financial Officer of Amprion, credited the joint efforts and focus on sustainability for the improved ratings. The assessment by Sustainable Fitch spotlights Amprion's adherence to Global Reporting Initiative standards and its regular publication of the Green Finance Investor Report.

In addition, Amprion also holds a top position in Sustainalytics ratings, with an ESG rating of 9.0, categorizing it as ‘negligible risk’.
