Another Way Recovery Services Inc., a division of Another Way Medical Services PA based in Brentwood, Tennessee, announced on February 27, 2024 that it has secured contracts with two large commercial insurers in the state – Aetna and United Behavioral Health (UBH) . This expansion marks a significant turning point for the company specializing in the in-home treatment of substance use disorders and coexisting mental health disorders.
Founder and Chairman Greg T. Bolan Jr. expressed excitement about integrating their unique services into the commercial insurer space, highlighting the move from a private payment model initially chosen to avoid the high costs of infrastructure, to a commercial insurance model aimed at extending services to a broader patient population. Bolan also discusses future plans to expand these commercial insurance relationships beyond Tennessee, including into Georgia and North Carolina.
