ARGAN completes its logistics park in Mâcon with a new Aut0nom® site
In June, ARGAN inaugurated a new 31,000 m² Aut0nom® warehouse for U PROXIMITE FRANCE in Mâcon, in the presence of Dominique Schelcher, CEO of the U Cooperative. This site finalizes the ARGAN logistics park in St-Jean-sur-Veyle, which now reaches 100,000 m².
The tri-temperature warehouse includes 20,000 m² in ambient, 7,500 m² in positive cold and 2,200 m² in negative cold. A 1,400 m² office block completes the complex, employing 150 employees. The site is equipped with a photovoltaic plant and a heat recovery system, aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
Ronan Le Lan, Chairman of the Management Board of ARGAN, underlines the speed of completion of the project and the attractiveness of St-Jean-sur-Veyle for logistics. ARGAN hopes to continue its development in the Mâcon region.
