Armacell Acquires Engineering Business of E&M Industries in Australia

Armacell, a global leader in flexible foam for the equipment insulation market, has announced the acquisition of the engineering business of E&M Industries, a notable insulation fabrication business in Western Australia. This move aims to expand Armacell's presence in the Asia Pacific region and enhance their industrial insulation jacketing segment.

Operating from E&M’s existing facilities in Perth, Armacell Australia Engineering Pty Ltd will significantly boost the Group’s energy and solution-selling business. Liam Douglas, Armacell’s Vice President APAC, emphasized the importance of this acquisition in Armacell’s strategy to transition from a material manufacturer to an industrial solutions provider with a focus on energy-saving solutions.

Founded in 2002, E&M Industries specializes in innovative thermal and acoustic insulation jacketing systems and primarily serves the Australian market and parts of the Asia Pacific region. Jeff Fraser, founder of E&M Industries, expressed his enthusiasm in joining Armacell to support the growth of their acoustic and industrial insulation business.
