ARway Announces Advanced AR Navigation System on Brandenburg University Campus

ARway.ai, in collaboration with Deutsche Telekom AG and the Institute for Innovation and Information Management (iFii) at the University of Applied Sciences Brandenburg, Germany, has introduced an AI-powered augmented reality (AR) wayfinding and smart campus activation. This deployment, fully funded and part of the 2024 roadmap for the campus, aims to revolutionize campus navigation and user experience through innovative AR technology.

The partnership capitalizes on cutting-edge 5G and WiFi 6 technologies to provide seamless, high-speed data transmission essential for the advanced AR features. This is expected to drive significant technological advancements in educational environments. A prototype of the AR navigation system developed by ARway has been successfully deployed on campus, serving as a model for future campus-wide rollouts.

Furthermore, the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences will embark on research projects to evaluate user experiences with the AR navigation system, leveraging the superior bandwidth and low latency of the 5G and WiFi 6 technologies.
