Atos Enters Exclusive Negotiations with ALTEN for Worldgrid Sale
Paris, France – June 11, 2024 – Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, announced today it has entered into exclusive negotiations with ALTEN SA for the sale of its Worldgrid business unit. The transaction values Worldgrid at €270 million.
Worldgrid, which employs nearly 1,100 individuals, generated around €170 million in revenue in 2023. The unit specializes in consulting and engineering services for energy and utility companies.
ALTEN, an expert in IT and engineering for the energy and utilities sector, aims to integrate Worldgrid’s offerings to enhance its market position. The transaction promises continuity for existing clients and employees of Worldgrid.
The deal, expected to close by the end of 2024, is subject to customary regulatory approvals and consultations with employee representative bodies.
