Avolta Expands at Copenhagen Airport with Local Pizza and Craft Beer Concept

Avolta AG has secured a new six-year contract to expand its operations at Copenhagen Airport with the introduction of a local dining concept, Neighbourhood. This venture comprises a pizza and craft beer store aimed at enhancing the travel experience by offering a taste of local flavors to both travelers and visitors. Avolta, a key player in global travel experiences, has successfully combined the unique offerings of locally renowned businesses Neighbourhood Pizza and To Øl brewery to create a unique dining space within the airport.

Neighbourhood offers a modern take on classic Italian pizzas using a lighter, crispier sourdough base and featuring global-inspired seasonal toppings. Alongside the pizza, travelers can enjoy a selection of 15 craft beers on draft from To Øl, a popular Danish brewer known for its wide range of contemporary beers. The store aims to provide travelers with a unique and authentic dining experience that reflects the local culture and cuisine.

According to Walter Seib, CEO of Northern, Central and Eastern Europe at Avolta, and Casper Frimann, F&B Business Partner at Copenhagen Airport, the new store not only compliments the airport’s food and beverage offerings but also introduces passengers to locally favored culinary delights. Martin Beck Duedahl, Founder of Neighbourhood, emphasized the blend of Nordic coziness with an innovative twist on traditional pizzas coupled with local Danish brews, creating a welcoming environment for departing and arriving passengers.

This new outlet marks Avolta’s fifth dining venture at Copenhagen Airport, enhancing its portfolio which includes other global and local brands.
