Avolta Expands Brazil Operations with Manaus Airport Contract

Avolta AG, a prominent player in the travel experience industry, has secured a ten-year contract at Manaus Airport, Brazil. This expansion includes the operation of four new stores covering over 1,000m² of both duty-free and duty-paid space. With Manaus Airport serving more than 2.8 million passengers annually, it becomes a significant addition to Avolta's network in Brazil.

The new stores, set to open in December, will feature a wide range of products including perfumes, cosmetics, liquor, and local souvenirs, reflecting the cultural richness of the Amazon region. Positioned in both International and DomesticTerminals, these outlets aim to enhance the overall traveler experience.

Enrique Urioste, Avolta’s President & CEO for LATAM, expressed enthusiasm about the strategic importance of Brazil in the company's regional expansion. Collaboration with VINCI Airports aims to elevate the Manaus Airport retail experience and boost tourism.
