Avolta Next Launches Innovation Hub in Milan

Avolta has inaugurated its first physical Innovation Hub in Milan, centering on the food and beverage (F&B) sector. The hub, located at the historical headquarters of Autogrill, aims to foster tech innovations and entrepreneurship. This initiative aligns with Avolta's efforts to transform the industry through innovative solutions designed to enhance the traveler experience.

The call for innovative ideas resulted in five startups setting up operations in the new 220-square-metre space. These startups will develop improvements in the motorway F&B sector, exemplified by Hoooly's AI-based waste management system.

The hub's launch was marked by a discussion among industry leaders, emphasizing the importance of innovation and collaboration. Xavier Rossinyol, CEO of Avolta, highlighted their unique positioning in combining travel retail, travel convenience, and F&B.
