Avolta Secures Seven-Year Duty Free Contract at Macau International Airport

Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL) is expanding its presence in Macau by signing a seven-year contract to operate Duty Free and General Merchandise at Macau International Airport. This agreement enhances Avolta's footprint in the Asia Pacific region, covering over 600 m² in four commercial spaces.

Starting in the second half of 2024, Avolta's new stores in the airport's departure halls will cater to travelers from mainland China, Portugal, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and other regions of South and East Asia. These stores will offer a mix of local and international products, including Liquor, Tobacco, and General Merchandise.

The stores will feature innovative marketing, product launches, and events, designed to reflect Macau’s unique heritage and appeal. This move extends Avolta's 27-year presence in Macau, operational through two downtown stores at Venetian and Parisian hotels.
