AXP Energy Ups Oil Production with Gas-to-Power Operations

AXP Energy Limited has reported an increase in oil production at its Pathfinder Field in the Denver-Julesburg Basin, Colorado. The Pathfinder #2 well is producing 20 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 280 mcf/day of gas, bringing total field production to about 50 BOPD. Amerigo Vespucci well is also expected to contribute gas for reservoir equalization shortly.

Plans are underway to complete Pathfinder #1 for production in the coming weeks, with promising results from the Greenhorn formation. The well previously flowed 75 barrels of oil over a four-day test period. The company's gas-to-power operations are a key focus, supporting both oil production and Bitcoin mining under a joint development agreement with Blackhart Technologies.

The initiative aligns with AXP’s strategy to develop new revenue streams and capitalize on the potential of the DJ Basin’s resources. The expansion of gas-to-power-data center activities remains a priority, with the first site performing well so far.
