Bank of America Increases Stake in easyJet

easyJet PLC announced that Bank of America Corp has altered its holdings in the company. According to a regulatory filing, Bank of America has increased its total voting rights from 12.977982% to 13.048175%. This change occurred on April 29, 2024, and easyJet was notified a day later on April 30, 2024.

The change is a result of both acquisition and disposal of shares and financial instruments. The voting rights attached directly to shares now stand at 3.005143%, while rights through financial instruments account for 10.043032%. These instruments include a variety of swaps with expiration dates extending up to 2025, and other instruments like physical swaps and options.
