Bastei Lübbe AG: Dividend Almost Doubled to 30 Cents Per Share

Bastei Lübbe AG has announced a significant increase in its dividend to 30 cents per share, as confirmed at its recent Annual General Meeting. The publisher reported robust financial performance for the past fiscal year, with revenue surpassing EUR 110 million and an EBIT margin of 12.7 percent.

The company attributed its success to digital business models and community-driven strategies, which have enhanced both revenue and engagement. CEO Soheil Dastyari emphasized the strategic focus on growth areas such as community-driven models, while CFO Mathis Gerkensmeyer highlighted gains in profitability and overall revenue.

Shareholders approved the dividend with a payout ratio of 45 percent of distributable earnings, resulting in a dividend yield of 3.2 percent. The meeting also approved the actions of the corporate bodies by a large majority.
