Battery X Metals' LIBRT Fortifies Partnership with BJPN to Advance EV Battery Technology
Battery X Metals Inc. (CSE:BATX)(OTCQB:BATXF)(FSE:R0W, WKN:A3EMJB) has announced a strengthened partnership between its portfolio company, Lithium-ion Battery Renewable Technologies Inc. (LIBRT), and Beijing Pengneng Science & Technology Ltd. (BJPN). The collaboration aims to further develop advanced lithium-ion and EV battery diagnostic and rebalancing technology.
The Second Amended Agreement outlines updated intellectual property ownership, payment obligations, and exclusive licensing rights. The partnership focuses on developing Prototype 2.0, set for delivery by April 2025. This next-generation prototype will diagnose and improve battery performance, extending battery lifecycles.
LIBRT retains global ownership of the intellectual property, while BJPN holds exclusive licensing rights in Mainland China. Battery X Metals holds a 49% equity interest in LIBRT, with an option to acquire the remaining shares.
