Bel Group and Dassault Systèmes Partner to Foster Sustainable Food Industry

Dassault Systèmes and Bel Group have initiated a long-term partnership aimed at accelerating the food industry's transformation towards sustainability. Utilizing Dassault Systèmes’ “Perfect Production” industry solution on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, the collaboration will focus on digitalizing the complete value chain, from product conception to market launch, leveraging artificial intelligence.

This partnership addresses the urgent need for innovative food technologies as global population projections anticipate reaching 10 billion by 2050. Bel Group, known for brands like The Laughing Cow®, Babybel®, and GoGoSqueez®, will employ AI, manufacturing operations management (MOM), and product lifecycle management (PLM) to enhance its production efficiency and sustainability.

The initiative will encompass Bel Group’s 11 manufacturing plants worldwide, focusing on optimizing inventory levels and raw material consumption while adapting to market demands. This collaboration aims to produce sustainable, high-quality food efficiently.

AI will play a crucial role in meeting consumer needs through sustainable development and the innovation of products and packaging. PLM will connect teams, processes, and data within a collaborative environment, streamlining decisions from product ideation to market release.
