Bird River Resources Announces Board Appointment and LOI Expiry with Faraday Energy
Bird River Resources Inc. (CSE:BDR), a Winnipeg-based diversified resource company, has appointed Mr. Gilles Lamarre as a new director effective immediately. Mr. Lamarre brings over 50 years of entrepreneurial and management consulting experience. He co-founded Uniticket, a computerized ticket service later sold to Ticketmaster Canada Inc., and currently serves as CEO of The Scientific Study Group Inc. and Chairman of Mackay Manor.
In other news, Bird River Resources announced the expiration of its Letter of Intent (LOI) with Faraday Energy. The company has decided not to extend the LOI, as Faraday did not proceed with the proposed merger transaction. Bird River is now seeking repayment of all outstanding funds loaned to Faraday. The board continues to explore opportunities in the renewable power sector and other growth industries.
