BlackRock Crosses Threshold at Societe Generale
On September 10, 2024, BlackRock, Inc., by letter, informed Société Générale of the reduction in its stake. The American management company declared that it had crossed downwards the threshold of 5% of voting rights on September 9, 2024.
BlackRock now holds 44,685,517 Société Générale shares, representing 5.50% of the capital and 4.98% of the voting rights. This threshold crossing is the result of an off-market sale of shares and a reduction in shares held as collateral.
This statement is part of the transparency obligations dictated by Article L. 233-7 of the French Commercial Code. The notification specifies that BlackRock manages voting rights on behalf of clients and funds, unless otherwise indicated by the latter.
