BlackRock exceeds 5% in VEOLIA
On September 9, 2024, VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT announced that New York-based BlackRock, Inc. has crossed upwards the thresholds of 5% of the company's capital and voting rights. This statement follows a notification received the same day by VEOLIA.
This threshold crossing, which occurred on September 6, is the result of an acquisition of shares both on and off the market, as well as an increase in the number of shares held as collateral. BlackRock now holds 36,818,596 VEOLIA shares, representing 5.07% of the company's capital and voting rights.
BlackRock said in its statement that these shares include 1,395,338 shares in the form of ADRs and 804,054 shares as collateral. In addition, the firm manages an additional 3,938,947 shares whose voting rights are retained by clients.
