BlackRock exceeds 5% of ARKEMA's capital
The American company BlackRock Inc. has, according to a recent press release, crossed upwards the threshold of 5% of the capital of the chemical firm ARKEMA. This information results from a letter sent to the company, officially declared on April 26, 2024, reporting BlackRock's holding of 3.82 million ARKEMA shares as of April 25, 2024, or 5.09% of the capital.
This increase in participation is the direct consequence of an increase in ARKEMA shares held as collateral. Among these actions, some specific formats such as ADRs, contracts for differences and shares in a securities lending framework are included, reflecting the complexity of BlackRock's investment structure.
