Blyncsy Releases Nationwide Map of U.S. Roadway Conditions and Assets

SALT LAKE CITY, UT / ACCESSWIRE / June 17, 2024 / Blyncsy, a Bentley Systems company, has made public a comprehensive map detailing roadway conditions and assets across cities of various sizes in all 50 states. The map is based on data collected by Blyncsy's AI-powered computer vision models which analyze crowdsourced imagery from over 800,000 vehicles.

This map highlights key issues faced by transportation departments, including guardrail inventory, road sign classification, streetlight outages, road debris, and potholes. Officials can utilize this data to enhance their internal records, improving both safety and efficiency.

Blyncsy's technology provides rapid assessments of roadway conditions by collecting and analyzing street-level imagery within 60 seconds of a vehicle's passage. This approach significantly cuts the costs of roadway maintenance and bolsters the safety of all road users, including autonomous vehicles.
