BMW and World Woman Foundation Partner for 2024 'World Woman Hour' in Los Angeles

In conjunction with International Women's Day and Women's History Month, the World Woman Foundation has announced BMW of North America, LLC as its Strategic Partner for the fourth annual World Woman Hour. This year's theme, ‘It's Time to Claim Our #POWhER’, emphasizes the empowerment of women to challenge stereotypes, overturn societal norms, and overcome obstacles. The event aims to showcase female leaders from various fields including science, health, business, arts, and media, promoting their innovative ideas for global change.

The 2024 edition is set to be held on March 26 at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, with over 200 delegates from more than 20 countries attending. The event will feature a conference, the World Woman Hero awards, and a reception. Prominent figures, such as Sara Denby from UN Women and Madeline Di Nonno of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, are among the speakers. The initiative underscores BMW’s commitment to fostering gender equality and creating societal impact through dialogues and partnerships.

World Woman Hour will be accessible live on YouTube, extending its reach beyond the attendees at the Grammy Museum. This partnership between BMW and the World Woman Foundation highlights a collective effort to empower and celebrate female leaders worldwide.
