Branicks Group Launches First Fund in New Renewables Asset Class

Branicks Group AG, listed under ISIN DE000A1X3XX4, has announced the launch of its inaugural renewable energy fund, 'Branicks Renewable Energy Fund S.C.S. SICAV-RAIF'. This fund, an Article 9 Impact Fund, aims to support European climate goals with a target return of 8% per annum and a planned volume of EUR 300 million.

The fund focuses on investing in established photovoltaic systems and onshore wind power plants across Northern, Central, and Southern Europe. It includes technologies such as rooftop systems and charging stations.

This launch follows a partnership with Encavis Asset Management AG initiated in April 2024. Encavis AM brings extensive expertise in solar and wind power, complementing Branicks' proficiency in structuring investment vehicles.

Sonja Wärntges, CEO of Branicks Group AG, highlighted that the fund marks a significant milestone in the company's strategic development, aiming to harness the dynamic growth in renewable energy for attractive returns and value appreciation.
