CAFOM transfers the Habitat brand license to Vente-unique.com
The CAFOM Group, specialist in home equipment, announced the transfer of the Habitat brand license to Vente-unique.com, an online furniture sales platform. The duration of this license is set at three years with annual remuneration of 600,000 euros for CAFOM. Vente-unique.com will also have the option to permanently purchase the brand for 15 million euros.
Alongside this operation, CAFOM is committed to resolving the issues arising from the liquidation of the former operator of the Habitat brand in France, compensating some 9,000 injured customers for a total amount estimated at 9 million euros. In this context, Vente-unique.com will manage the logistics while CAFOM will finance the cost of the products involved.
