Castle Connolly and GLMA Release Castle Connolly 2024 Top LGBTQ+ Doctors

Castle Connolly, in partnership with GLMA, has announced the Castle Connolly 2024 Top LGBTQ+ Doctors list. This year's list recognizes 103 doctors from 44 specialties across 25 states. These professionals are noted for their excellence in medical careers and their dedication to the health and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community.

This initiative is part of Castle Connolly's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts, honoring top clinicians and helping patients find doctors with similar backgrounds and experiences. A new resource identifying Top Doctors who provide LGBTQ+ Affirming Care has also been introduced.

Alex Sheldon, Executive Director of GLMA, emphasized the importance of LGBTQ+ physicians in offering visibility and representation in patient care. This contributes to improved health outcomes and builds trust with LGBTQ+ patients.

Steve Leibforth, Managing Director of Castle Connolly, stated that the goal is to create a healthcare environment where every patient feels seen and respected. All nominated doctors are evaluated based on qualifications, reputation, skills, and outcomes data.
