COGRA: 2023/24 ANNUAL TURNOVER DOWN 24%

Cogra, a pioneer in wood energy in France, announced a turnover of 39 million euros for the 2023/24 financial year. This amount represents a decrease of 24% compared to the previous financial year.

The figure for the 4th quarter stands at 4.6 million euros, a decrease of 47% compared to the same period last year. This collapse is explained by falling heating consumption, a consequence of mild winter temperatures and the fall in wood pellet prices in the second half of 2023/24.

Cogra anticipates degraded profitability for this financial year, with an EBITDA margin slightly lower than the objective set by the Cap 2022 plan. The outlook for 2024/25 will be detailed when the annual results are published on September 9, 2024.
