CoinShares Digital Securities Limited Announces MATIC to POL Upgrade
On July 18, 2024, Polygon Labs announced the upgrade and replacement of MATIC with POL. CoinShares Digital Securities Limited, which holds MATIC as the underlying for its CoinShares Physical Staked Matic Digital Security, confirmed that this upgrade will occur on September 4, 2024.
The issuer declared this change as an Adjustment Event per the Conditions. As of September 4, 2024, CoinShares will rename the digital security to CoinShares Physical Staked Polygon. The definition of Polygon in the Conditions will now refer to Polygon (POL) instead of Polygon (MATIC). Consequently, POL will become the new underlying asset.
The management fee for the Digital Security’s ISIN (GB00BNRRB013) will be reduced to 0.0% per annum following this transition.
