CompuGroup Medical Appoints Prof. Dr. Daniel Gotthardt as New CEO

CompuGroup Medical (CGM) has announced the appointment of Prof. Dr. Daniel Gotthardt as its new CEO, effective September 1, 2024. Prof. Gotthardt, the son of the company's founder, takes over from Michael Rauch, who has decided to pursue new professional opportunities. Rauch joined CGM as CFO in 2019 and later became CEO in 2023. During his tenure, he significantly increased the company's revenues.

Daniel Gotthardt brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He studied medicine in Heidelberg and London and worked for 13 years at University Clinic Heidelberg. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at CGM. His appointment marks the first time a medical doctor has taken on the CEO role at CGM.

Company founder Frank Gotthardt praised Michael Rauch for his contributions to CGM. He expressed confidence in his son's ability to lead the company, highlighting his expertise in modern cloud systems, data-based solutions, and AI applications. Daniel Gotthardt aims to focus on customer orientation, operational excellence, and a connected, patient-centered healthcare system.
