CPI PROPERTY GROUP Announces New Equity Investment in Poland
CPI PROPERTY GROUP, a significant real estate company based in Luxembourg, has signed a commitment agreement with Sona Asset Management (UK) LLP for a substantial equity investment of €250 million in Poland. This investment is directed towards a portfolio that includes eleven office properties in Warsaw and two retail properties in Elblag and Lublin, with a gross asset value surpassing €1 billion.
The transaction is currently in its final stages, with due diligence and documentation nearly completed. The aim is to finalize the deal by the first half of 2024. The proceeds from this investment will be used by CPI PROPERTY GROUP to pay off existing debts and decrease overall leverage, reflecting a strategic move to optimize their capital structure going into 2024 and the subsequent years.
