Critical Elements Lithium Reports Promising Results from Rose West Discovery

Critical Elements Lithium Corporation has announced successful results from its 31-hole, 3,670-meter winter drill program at the Rose West Discovery, part of its lithium-tantalum project in Québec. The drilling campaign has shown significant intercepts of lithium-rich pegmatites, with assays demonstrating high concentrations of lithium oxide (Li2O) and tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5).

The highlight results include multiple wide intersections, such as 1.39% Li2O and 157 ppm Ta2O5 over 35.30 meters, and 1.29% Li2O and 121 ppm Ta2O5 over 31.50 meters. These results suggest an expansive mineralization, with the pegmatite body currently mapped over a 450-meter strike and a down dip of 370 meters.

The CEO, Eric Zaunscherb, commented on the potential of this project to significantly increase the resource base and extend the life of the mine. He also emphasized the quality of spodumene concentrate which could be sourced from Québec, a jurisdiction known for its clean energy grid and stringent regulations. The company plans a second-round drill program and considers an initial mineral resource estimate shortly.
