On May 17, 2024, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. crossed the thresholds of 5% of the capital and voting rights of BNP Paribas. This crossing, declared to the AMF on May 23, 2024, concerns 72,372,646 shares, representing 6.31% of the capital and voting rights of BNP Paribas.

This movement results from an off-market acquisition. Following this operation, the trading exemption no longer applies. Goldman Sachs owns these shares through several entities such as Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE.
