CTS EVENTIM Continues Its Growth Course in the First Quarter of 2024
Munich, 23 May 2024 – CTS EVENTIM, Europe's leading ticketing service and live entertainment provider, reported strong results for Q1 2024. Consolidated revenue increased by 11.6% to EUR 408.7 million, and adjusted EBITDA surged by 36.3% to EUR 92.2 million, indicating robust growth despite usually lower seasonal revenue.
Key achievements included securing ticketing deals for upcoming international handball tournaments and partnering with AXS Group to become the official ticketing service provider for the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics and Paralympics. CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg highlighted the sustained dynamic growth and notable success in tendering for major sporting events as pivotal factors for future development.
In the Ticketing segment, revenue rose by 23.3% to EUR 182.8 million, with adjusted EBITDA up by 24.9% to EUR 83.3 million. The Live Entertainment segment also saw a revenue increase of 4.8% to EUR 234.4 million, with adjusted EBITDA reaching EUR 8.9 million, a significant year-on-year improvement.
