DEFAMA Appoints Dr. Angelus Bernreuther as New Head of Business Development

Deutsche Fachmarkt AG (DEFAMA) aims to strengthen growth and market presence in the real estate industry and has recruited Dr. Angelus Bernreuther as Head of Business Development. Dr. Bernreuther will oversee the transaction business of the publicly listed company.

Dr. Bernreuther brings over 20 years of experience in the retail property sector, having served as Head of Investor Relations at Kaufland and held a senior position at BBE Retail Consulting. He is also an active speaker at industry conferences and holds multiple advisory roles.

"His extensive experience in the real estate industry and innovative thinking will help us sustainably strengthen our market position," said Matthias Schrade, a board member of DEFAMA. Board member Matthias Stich added, "His ability to analyze real estate markets will significantly advance us."

Currently, DEFAMA owns 68 retail parks with a total area of 280,000 sqm, with 96% of the space leased. The annualized net rent exceeds 24 million euros. Key tenants include ALDI, EDEKA, and REWE.
