Dirk Simons Joins PNE AG’s Supervisory Board

PNE AG has announced the appointment of Dirk Simons as a new member of its Supervisory Board, effective November 1, 2024. He is set to become the Chairman on January 1, 2025, succeeding Marc van't Noordende. Simons brings a wealth of experience from the energy sector, previously holding positions such as CFO at Mainstream Renewable Power and CTO at Mabanaft. His extensive background includes roles within the RWE Group and as COO and CFO at Npower.

Marc van't Noordende, the current Chairman, expressed confidence in Dirk Simons' ability to steer PNE AG amidst a challenging market. Simons' expertise is expected to play a crucial role in the company's ongoing success. The Supervisory Board now comprises seven members, including Simons, Christoph Oppenauer, and others.
