DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft Completes Capital Increase, Plans Strategic Growth
DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG has successfully completed a capital increase by issuing 300,000 new shares. These were fully placed with institutional investors at EUR 1.10 per share. The proceeds, amounting to roughly EUR 330,000, will fund DWK's strategic growth plans.
The company aims to expand its portfolio of CO2-saving small hydropower plants in Europe. This move aligns with their strategy of leveraging the hydropower market to advance climate neutrality in Europe.
The capital increase will be registered commercially in September. The new shares are expected to be listed on the Hamburg Stock Exchange shortly thereafter.
Jan Erik Schulien, Co-CEO of DWK, expressed satisfaction with the strong support from major shareholders, which underscores confidence in DWK's business model.
