EcoGraf Completes Epanko Environmental and Social Program

EcoGraf Limited (ASX: EGR; FSE: FMK) has successfully concluded a significant environmental and social update for the Epanko Graphite Project in Tanzania. This comprehensive program aligns with the Equator Principles and Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management, preparing the project for upcoming financing stages.

The update included an Environmental and Social Management Plan, reviewed by independent consultants, and addressed potential community impacts through a Resettlement Action Plan approved by Tanzanian authorities. The project's environmental aspects, such as biodiversity surveys and water management, have been thoroughly assessed, ensuring sustainability.

The completion of the program strengthens the foundation for the project's development, supporting a Special Mining Licence that could extend to 25 years. EcoGraf's commitment to environmental, social, and governance standards is evident in its investment of over A$3.5 million, emphasizing the project's long-term value and community engagement.
