Econocom joins a consortium for the restructuring of Atos
Econocom, a major player in digital transformation, announced its integration into the consortium led by Onepoint to support Atos. Historically, Econocom has collaborated frequently with Atos, strengthening their ties through several co-contracting projects and a joint venture created in 2022. This consortium, which also includes Butler Industries, aims to transform Atos into a digital and cloud leader in Europe.
The plan proposed by the consortium, and presented to the Atos board on May 3, 2024, is based on three main axes: asset conservation, return to profitable growth and debt restructuring. Jean-Louis Bouchard, CEO of Econocom, expresses his enthusiasm for this initiative, emphasizing the need to preserve the integrity and sustainability of Atos.
