EEII AG Acquires 15.41% of Grupo Alves Bandeira S.A., Portugal

EEII AG has signed a purchase agreement to acquire 15.41% of the shares of Grupo Alves Bandeira S.A. (GAB) in Portugal. The announcement was made on June 24th, 2024, and marks a significant investment in the Portuguese energy and automotive sectors.

GAB, a key player in Portugal, operates 172 distribution sites across the country. This acquisition is seen as a strategic move for EEII AG to establish itself as a major actor in the European energy infrastructure sector.

The transaction is subject to approval by GAB. Further details will be released after the completion of the planned capital increase and the integration of Jubin Frères S.A.
